  Mission Critical Reliability  
  One of the main concerns in the deployment of any networking device into an operational network is the need for failure resilience. A common way to provide failure resilience is to deploy network devices in pairs, and designing the network to switch over to the secondary device when the primary device fails. This type of network protection is called "system level redundancy" and is the approach that iNTOUCH.com.ph utilizes for failure protection in all of our operations.

Our softswitch, transaction servers and databases have been designed to be clustered and distributed. In order to provide uninterrupted hosted services, we operate redundant and geographically dispersed instances of all our platforms. In the event of a failure in any part of the network – from hardware, to software to network connectivity – our integrated system has the ability to switch processing tasks to the fallback location which seamlessly takes over the identity of the primary location in seconds.

  
  Redundancy Characteristics:  
    - All traffic is configured to use MPCCS softswitch pairs. In the event one unit of the pair fails, the originating devices switch to the remaining unit using standard call-routing techniques.  
    - Provides next-call fail-over whenever a failure is encountered  
    - Protects against network failures and device failures  
    - Allows paired MPCCS softswitches to be operational and handling VoIP traffic, under normal non-failure conditions.
